Parenting is yelling 'you just had a snack' again and again until you give in and cook them another snack. Being a mother is learning about the strengths you didn't know you had.... and dealing with fears you didn't know existed. With this, believing in each and every 'MOTHER' out there, posting a  delicious and tasty snack bite for kids in 6 simple steps - Crispy Maggie Fritters😋.
TOTAL TIME  : 40 mins
PREP TIME   :  10 mins
COOK TIME :   30 mins
SERVINGS    :  12 Fritters (3 - 4  servings)
INGREDIENTS:
Masala Maggie   -  1 packet (crush the noodles into medium size pieces)
Small- sized carrot   -  1
Small- sized onion    -  1
Small- sized tomato  -  1
Green chilly   -  1
Rice Flour   -  2 tbsp
Besan / Gram Flour   -  3 tbsp
Maida / All -Purpose Flour    - 3 tbsp
Turmeric Powder   -  1/2 tsp
Red Chilly Powder   - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala   - 1/2 tsp
Hing / Asafoetida   - 1/4 tsp
Salt   - to taste
Water   -  1 1/2 glass
Oil   - for deep frying
STEP 1:
Finely chop the onion, carrot, tomato and green chilly.
STEP 2:
In a medium bottom non-stick pan, add 1 tbsp of oil, once hot add the finely chopped vegetables from step 1  and stir fry it for 2 - 3 minutes.
STEP 3:
Once the vegetables are stir fried, add 1 1/2 glass of water along with maggie taste-maker and a pinch of salt to taste and keep the gas on high flame, till the mixture comes to boil.

STEP 4:
Once the mixture comes to boil, add the crushed medium sized maggie noodles into the boiling mixture. Cook it till the water evaporates and the noodles are completely cooked. Once the maggie noodles are cooked, keep it aside and let it cool.
STEP 5:
In a mixing bowl, add rice flour, besan / gram flour, maida / all- purpose flour along with turmeric powder, red chilly powder, garam masala, hing / asafoetida , salt to taste and mix well with very little water to form a thick paste. (Please note that the paste should be thick and not a watery one. If the paste is too watery, the fritters will break while frying in hot oil.) And finish this step by adding the cooked maggie noodles into the thick paste mixture and mix it slowly and properly.(Make sure that the noodles doesn't get smashed in the process of mixing.)
STEP 6:
Lastly, take deep bottom non- stick pan, add enough oil for deep frying the fritters. Once oil becomes hot, take small ball sized portions of thick paste maggie noodles mixture and carefully drop it into the hot oil and cook each side of it till it become golden brown in colour. Once you turn the fritters to other side, prick the fritters with the fork so that it get cooked inside properly. Once done, remove the fritters from the oil and place it on the tissue so that it absorbs the excess oil.
Plate the Crispy Maggie Fritters and enjoy it with sweet and tangy tomato ketchup.

    1. yes...It can be made with cheese stuffing.
But make sure that you add small cubed cheese instead of shredded cheese, because cubed cheese doesn't stick easily in comparison to shredded ones while deep frying the fritters. Also, cheese cubes are to be mixed at the end just before deep frying the fritters.
Hope this tip works for you and let me know whether it was useful or not, so that my readers, viewers and friends can also try the same.
      Thank you.

    2. Thanks a lot!!! It came out great!!! Also the tip was very helpful - adding the cheese just before frying. In the past I had tried this with shredded cheese and it was a mess. This time it came really well! Please do keep sharing such cooking hacks and tips. Very helpful.
